Matthew joined Drummond Miller in May 2024 as a summer student before joining the firm permanently as an administrator in the immigration team. In March 2026, Matthew joined the Edinburgh litigation team ahead of his traineeship commencing in July 2026.
Matthew graduated from the University of Glasgow with Master of Arts in English Language & Linguistics (First Class Honours) in 2022. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an accelerated LLB in 2025 and completed his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2026.
Matthew is involved across a wide-ranging variety of litigation matters, including group proceedings, personal injury matters and petitions for judicial review. He brings attention to detail and professionalism to the office, as well as a genuine passion for solving complex issues and assisting clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
